Hello Everyone, In this article we will discuss about a New rule of UIDAI ,related to Aadhar Card update.Now residents can update their Addhar Card address using consent of Head of Family. What is Aadhar address correction hof based new rule,and How to update address online.

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has introduced a new feature to update the Aadhar card address. If the citizen doesn’t have an address proof, then also he/she can update the address with the help of head of family (HoF).

According to this rule now Aadhar card holders can  update their Aadhar Card addresses online on Uidai’s My Aadhar Portal with consent from the Head of Family (HOF),an official document from The Government of India.

The Unique Identofication Authority of India said that Aadhar Holders can now update their address details online with the consent of their Head of Family.

An Addition in previous rules,If any Family Member does not have a valid address proof on their name, HOF based address updation rule will be a great option for the relative(s) of a resident like Children,Spouse,Parents etc.

It will be very helpful for the People moving from one City to another within the Country from various reasons. such facility will be very helpful for Million of People, The statment said.

“Any resident above the age of 18 years can be a HOF and can share his/her address with their relatives through this process.

Benefit of Aadhar CARD address UPDATE HOF based :

As you know when anyone wants to update their address in Aadhar Card data,He needs to provide address proof document, but this new feature will be helpful for the residents because now they can update Aadhar Card using the consent of their Head of Family.

Residents can update their aadhar card online using MY AADHAR PORTAL the process of Aadhar Card updating with HOF based is given below

 How to Update Aadhar Address using HOF

1- First of All you have to Visit UIDAI MY AADHAR PORTAL Direct Link is Here

2- After Page opens Click on LOGIN and Enter Your Aadhar No click and Send OTP.

3- Submit OTP and You will be on Your MY AADHAR PORTAL main Page.

4-Now CLick on Online Update Services.

5- On this Page You will get an option of ‘ Head of Family (HOF) based address update’ click on it.

6- Now Submit the HOF aadhar no and Other Required details , Select Relationship type, and Upload required documents Eg Ration card,Bith Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Passport etc OR can use Self Declation Form Signed by HOF.

7- After Filling All details Click on Next and Make a Payment of Rs 50 charged by UIDAI for online Updation Services.

8- After Sucessful Payment you will get an URN no.

9- Now after this, When your Head of Family logs onto their myAadhaar portal, they will receive a request for address sharing, which they can accept or deny. This option to accept / decline the request by HoF shall be valid for 30 days from the date of creation of the request.\

10- After successful Acceptance by HOF you will get a message on your registered Mobile No with the Status of Your Aadhar updation Status.You can also check your update request from your MY AADHAR PORTAL
